Our Mission is to project visual aids, including words, for each Mass for the congregation to assist them in attending Mass confidently and without fumbling through books, pages, etc. We focus attention on the altar area. We have video ministers who operate our equipment to do the projection and others who specialize in serving at funerals; we have data entry ministers who create the files; we have liaison ministers who interface with other ministries, ensuring the order for special events, and consistency of the liturgy; and we have a servant leader who manages the system, interfaces, all ministers, and equipment. Training is provided and we meet twice a year to work together.

More volunteers are needed!

Our ministry is one of hospitality and welcoming for families who have a child receiving the Sacrament of Baptism. Our role is to assist with logistics so that families can be "truly present" during the Sacrament, not worried about where they need to be, but prayerful, and joyful participants. This ministry does not require a huge time commitment, outside of a training class, you serve at the Mass you normally attend.

Servant Leader for this ministry is Virginia Michaelson, 593-7684, email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Thank-you!

Altar Linens

This team serves our Parish by laundering the linens used daily at Mass.  We follow specific guidelines to protect the Precious Body and Blood of our Lord. As one ministry member said, “I get to take Jesus home with me in a special way.” Members of the ministry do a load of church linens once every 7-8 weeks and are scheduled according to their needs on a six month calendar. Special instructions for laundering are provided.

Hospitality Ministers

Lectors proclaim the word of God at Mass. Two hour training sessions are offered throughout the year. Youth who have an understanding of the Holy Bible and who enjoy public speaking may become Lectors.

Hospitality Ministers

Hospitality Ministers greet people entering the church in order to provide a friendly, welcoming environment. They assist worshipers in locating a seat during Mass, initiate the collection of gifts, and direct the flow of traffic during communion. Following Mass, they hand out the parish bulletin and tidy the worship space as needed. Youth are invited to participate. Training sessions are offered throughout the year.

Volunteers assist in setting up and operating the sound equipment during Masses, weddings, funerals, education sessions and other special occasions requiring sound support. Volunteers must possess working knowledge of complicated sound equipment and the ability to work closely with the music groups.

Environment Committee

Volunteers decorate the church for special seasons and liturgical celebrations, to glorify the Lord and to make the House of God as wonderful and as beautiful as possible. Youth may participate.

Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)

St. Patrick is happy to offer Children's Liturgy of the Word (“CLOW”) during the 9:30 am Mass.  All children ages 4 years old thru 1st grade are invited to attend CLOW.  The Mass commentator will make an announcement after the Gloria for the children to meet a CLOW volunteer in the back of the church, who will direct the children to the Bonnie Fitzpatrick room for the "Liturgy of the Word" part of the Mass.  In CLOW, the children will listen and discuss the Gospel reading at their age level.   The children will return to Mass after the Prayers of the Faithful.   For more information, please see the latest bulletin.
