Stewardship
|
As Catholics, we are called to be faithful stewards of what has been entrusted to us by God. Stewardship was entrusted to us at the time of our Baptism. The gifts we have received are to be used and shared in fulfillment of the mission of the universal church. The Stewardship Committee of St. Patrick invites you to prayerfully consider how Stewardship of Time, Talent and Treasure has built the Church. Our Mission Statement states that collectively we can combine our Time, Talent and Treasure in fulfillment of that mission. Stewardship Committee The Stewardship Committee volunteers develop ways that will encourage parishioners to consider the many gifts they have received and how these gifts can be used in service to others.
Tithing Committee The Tithing Committee volunteers discern which charities will benefit from the 10% tithe taken from weekend offertory collections.
Stewardship Planning Committee members provide a strategic focus for the development of continuous stewardship programs of Time, Talent, and Treasure. |

Our message for 2010 is "The Work of Faith" taken from James 2:15--17: "If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well," but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it? So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead."
The Returning God's Gifts appeal provides funds necessary to support over 30 charitable and educational programs throughout the diocese, in addition to providing for the formation of our next generation of priests. You can make your commitment online at www.returninggodsgifts.org.
Please open your hearts and your checkbooks to help those in need!
