Lent began with the distribution of ashes. Have you been spending time with the Lord daily? Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament is every Thursday from 7:30am - 8:00pm.

Come spend time on the Fridays during Lent; we start at 5:30pm with Evening Prayer in the Sanctuary, followed by either a Fish Fry or Soup Supper downstairs, then the Stations of the Cross back in the Sanctuary. Fish Fry dates by Knights of Columbus:  3/12 and 3/26. The Soup Suppers are sponsored by our ministries.

Pray with those going thru the RCIA process:

March 21 - 9:30am Mass - The Third Scrutiny

March 14 - 11:30am Mass - RCIA Rite of Full Communion for those who are ready to receive Eucharist and Confirmation.

Courage in Giving...Living in Faith

St. Patrick's kicked off the Capital Campaign in May, 2009. We listened to your requests and researched our needs. We assessed our current financial status and we're making plans for the next 5 years. Our offertory wasn’t keeping up with our demands and we still had a debt of $1.3 million. We believe that by working together over the next 3 years, we can plan for the next 5 years and beyond.  Just think of what we could do if we used that money for ministry and outreach.

We believe we are a community grounded in gratitude and our needs and our commitments will be revealed in prayer.  Our campaign theme is: “Courage in Giving…Living in Faith.”  Please keep your parish in prayer. Thank you for being such an important part of the St. Patrick family.

Returning God's Gifts 2010
Written by Mary Ann Lamecker
Friday, 05 February 2010 16:54

Our message for 2010 is "The Work of Faith" taken from James 2:15--17:  "If a brother or sister has nothing to wear and has no food for the day, and one of you says to them, "Go in peace, keep warm, and eat well," but you do not give them the necessities of the body, what good is it?  So also faith of itself, if it does not have works, is dead."

The Returning God's Gifts  appeal provides funds necessary to support over 30 charitable and educational programs throughout the diocese, in addition to providing for the formation of our next generation of priests.  You can make your commitment online at www.returninggodsgifts.org.

Please open your hearts and your checkbooks to help those in need!

It will be transferred conveniently from your bank account or your credit card account directly to our parish. It's that simple!

Your gift will go farther than ever, allowing our parish to reduce administrative costs, plan future projects with greater efficiency, and spend more time on ministry, less on envelopes and contribution recording.

Pope Benedict XVI addressing altar servers
Written by Phil Wilker
Tuesday, 10 November 2009 12:04

"When you take part in the Liturgy by carrying out your altar service, you offer a witness to all. Your absorption, the devotion that wells up from your heart and is expressed in gestures, in song, in the responses: if you do it correctly and not absent-mindedly, then in a certain way your witness is one that moves people."

Pope Benedict XVI addressing altar servers on August 2, 2006
