Youth Choirs

Celtic Cherubs

All children in kindergarten through second grades may take part.  Children learn proper vocal technique/production, as well as instrumental instruction on various Orff and percussion instruments.  Musical instruction is offered weekly throughout the school year, and paired with discussions of faith as the children prepare to sing for monthly Masses throughout the school year.   

 

Emerald Singers

All children in third through fifth grades may take part.  Children learn proper vocal technique/production, introduction of part-singing, as well as instrumental instruction on various Orff and percussion instruments.  Musical instruction is offered weekly throughout the school year, and paired with discussions of faith as the children prepare to sing for monthly Masses throughout the school year.   

 

Trinity Singers

Youth in sixth through twelfth grades may take part as singers in this group. Singers study proper vocal technique/production, part-singing, and the musical aspects of Catholic liturgy.  Youth in sixth through twelfth grades who have at least two years experience and instruction playing their instrument may take part as instrumentalists in this group.  The class teaches the student the skills required to play in an instrumental ensemble that supports the singing of the Assembly at Parish liturgies.  Musical instruction is offered weekly throughout the school year, and is paired with discussions of faith as the youth prepare to serve as music ministers for monthly Masses.
