We are happy to announce that our two catechumens (Sophia and Kyle) are preparing to join others in the "Rite of Election", usually celebrated on the first Sunday of Lent at the Cathedral with Bishop Sheridan presiding.  At this "rite", the Church formally approves the catechumans' readiness for the sacraments of initiation.  The catechumens, who will become the "elects" after the ceremony will express the will to receive the sacraments.  On March 21 during the 9:30 AM Mass they will join their counterparts going through the "Third Scrutiny".  On two Friday evenings in March, during the Liturgy of the hours, special presentations will be made;

March 12 - "The Presentation of the Creed"

March 26th - "The Presentation of the Lord's Prayer"
